Lets go where curiosity leads! This week-long summer day camp seeks to hone childrens innate curiosity in nature and allow them the freedom to explore. Topics include water critters, fossils, being nature detectives, map reading, animal adaptations, tracks, scat, the magic of trees, and more!

Head outdoors on Tuesdays in June and July to discover our areas unique biodiversity protected by Land Trust preserves. Each summer, local experts lead children on explorations of topics including archaeology, water ecology, animal tracks, tree identification, and more!

Families with young children (ages 18 months to 5 years) can enjoy these nature discovery events designed to encourage a sense of wonder about the natural world. Through the sharing of stories and songs and the creation of art, each playful exploration engages both adults and children as we make new discoveries about the plants and animals in this beautiful forest habitat.

This new program is for children ages 7-11. Once a month, well explore what makes North Alabama the gem that it is. Programs will include presentations, hikes, art activities, stewardship efforts, or other forms of exploration.
