STJDA began offering summer camp experiences for children living with diabetes since its founding over ten years ago. Our residential and day camps are strategically placed across the Rio Grande Valley to provide more families access to a life-changing experience for their children living with diabetes, ages 6 to 14. Campers enjoy fun and educational activities, games, arts and crafts. Health care professionals are joined by educators and volunteers who are trained in diabetes care, all under the guidance of a pediatric endocrinologist.
