The Exeter Summer program is one of academic enrichment, based on Harkness learning and collaboration without the stress of making the grade. The focus is on learning through preparation, careful listening, and well-considered discussion contributions. Courses are taught by experienced faculty using Harkness, a philosophy based on student-led group discussion. This way students develop the ability to direct conversations and their own learning.
