Design in Town is much more than a summer camp: it is an immersive journey into the world of design and creativity for high school students, set in the enchanting heart of Italy. In collaboration with three prestigious international universities (IED, USI, Accademia di Como Aldo Galli), the camp offers hands-on orientation in eight creative fields: architecture, fashion, design, photography, graphics and communication, video, creative writing, and illustration. Students experience intensive 2 or 3 week modules, working on real projects under the guidance of over a hundred internationally renowned professionals, including designers, photographers, directors, and architects. The 13th edition will take place in the picturesque town of Troia, Puglia, surrounded by rolling hills, historic streets, and the timeless charm of Italian culture, from 8 June to 2 August 2026. Over twelve editions, 1.360 students from across Italy and abroad have immersed themselves in this unique creative adventure. Design in Town is not just a camp: it is a celebration of creativity in an inspiring Italian setting, offering students the chance to explore disciplines, gain practical experience, and connect directly with the professional world of design, all while experiencing the beauty, culture, and lifestyle that only Italy can offer.
