Mosholu Montefiore Community Center

Fun for young ones! Our youngest campers have a fantastic summer of fun. Our program provides a nurturing environment where campers have an opportunity to enjoy activities like swimming, music, arts, nature, a full array of sports, BBQs and special programs. Special focus is placed on our swim program, where we begin to develop and improve water familiarity and swimming skills.

Lots of fun under the sun! It is not unusual to see a 3rd or 4th grade camper kayak across the lake, swim out to our water trampoline or slide down a mountain on a zip line. Our 8 and 9 year olds enjoy a fun filled day with instructional swim, boating, archery, art, drama, dance, sports, nature, pottery, recreational swim and more. We have optional overnights, BBQs, fantastic hikes in beautiful Harriman State Park and challenge course activities. Cooking smores over an open fire along with our theme days, Olympics and carnival all become memories that every Young Blazer takes with them forever!

An amazing program that provides our oldest campers with quality trips and age appropriate programming. Staffed by a group of safety minded but still fun loving counselors, the camp is a funtastic place for 10-11 year olds to make new friends, enjoy the outdoors and have a positive experience. Counselors are college aged and above and are directly supervised by adult professional childcare workers who are in-tune to the campers needs.
