In Stitches Sewing & Design Studio

For the child with a great imagination and a passion for fashion! Open to children Ages 6-10. A WHOLE 10 HOURS OF SEWING!!! All fabric, materials, sketch books, tools & notions are provided in our camp. Our staff goes fabric shopping biweekly so that your child will have a great selection of fabric to choose from. This intensive workshop will begin with basic hand sewing, following hand sewing we will begin sewing machine safety and operation. Next, we will start CREATING! Children will be creating from their own sketches and using our basic slopers to create their designs. They will then construct their designs with help from our instructors. We end our camp with an outdoor virtual fashion show live on our fb! SEW FUN!!

All about fashion Design is all about sewing!!! This camp is where we bring sketches to life & encourage full creativity! This camp runs Monday-Friday 9am-1pm and is a whole 20 hours of sewing! It is best for ages 8-18. No experience is necessary for this camp and all materials are included in the price. To keep fabric options fresh and trendy, we make sure to fabric shop bi-weekly. Heres what an average week looks like for a beginner student in our fashion design camp- First day your child will learn all about their machine and start with a beginner project such as a tote bag, shorts, skirt or Pj pants. After they complete their first project, they will begin to brainstorm and sketch out some ideas they hope to complete/learn during the week. The next day they will begin on a design. Whether they draw it up themselves or search on Pinterest, we bring that idea to life! Depending on the depth of this project, it can take 1-3 days to complete, this varies between project, pattern vs no pattern, & fittings. Our goal is to make it happen in the most time efficient way. After this project is complete, they will move onto the next. We do as many projects as we can in a week of camp! We also offer some thrifted clothes for up-cycling throughout the week!

This camp is designed for those who want to immerse themselves in fashion design for a full week. It runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, providing a comprehensive experience in sewing and design. Open to ages 10-18, this camp includes all materials and offers a chance to create multiple projects throughout the week.

Join us for 18 hours of fun! This camp is good for ages 6-18 and requires no sewing experience. No matter your age and whether you have sewing experience or not you will love this camp! Each day we will take 2 short breaks, one at 11 and one at 1. At 11 one of our staff take a walk to Dunkin Donuts, your child is welcome to join for the walk so feel free to send some cash for dunks or you can pack a nut free snack. Our 1:00 break they are welcome to have a second snack break. Here is what a full week will look like whether you are a beginner or not- Day one you will be getting assigned a sewing machine that you will sew on all week. You will be getting a full lesson on it, how to thread and safety. After this, you will begin on a small project to get comfortable on your machine. Once we are comfortable on the machine we will jump into our plans for the week, what our goals are to learn & create, and we will make an inspiration board and even sketch out a few items of clothing. Once we have our plans for our busy week, LET THE FUN BEGIN!!

Join us for 12 hours of sewing fun! This camp is good for children ages 6+ and requires no sewing experience. No matter your age or sewing experience you will love this camp! Here is what your week will look like whether you are a beginner or not- You will be getting assigned a sewing machine that you will sew on for the week. You will be getting a full lesson on it, how to thread and safety. After this, you will begin on a small project to get comfortable on your machine. Once we are comfortable on the machine we will jump into our plans, what our goals are to learn & create. We will have a list of projects to choose or you will have full creative freedom to design your own project. Once we have our plans for our busy days, LET THE FUN BEGIN!!
