While learning about the buildings and structures around them, campers will stretch their expressive muscles and build new things that exist in their imaginations. They'll have the opportunity to design and build models of their own dream homes and assemble decorative art pieces from various age-appropriate (and fun!) materials, learning about simple, universal principles of architecture and assemblage sculpture along the way.

This week, campers will have a blast as they explore all things to do with paint and painting! Drawing inspiration from the works of famous painters and using different kinds of paint--including some they make themselves--campers will brush, drip, pour, drag, and splatter their way to their very own creative masterpieces.

Campers will view artmaking in a whole new light after this week! In this camp, they'll explore imaginative ways to create art using everyday objects and unexpected materials. Items may include: recyclables & found objects, fruits & vegetables, fabrics & tools, and more. Some traditional art tools will be used, too... but in unexpected ways. Any way you look at it, though, these messy masterpieces will be marvelous!
