Cello Fury Rock Camp for Strings is an annually held music day camp located in Pittsburgh, PA and run by the members of Cello Fury. Currently entering its 17th year, Cello Fury Rock Camp provides young string players an alternative musical experience beyond the traditional, classical style of playing. Each day, campers play in a rock orchestra, practice with their own rock bands, participate in masterclasses, and attend rock orchestra sectionals. Special workshops take place daily, which change from year to year. Past workshops have included music composition, songwriting, world music, improvisation, world drumming, steelpan, jazz, fiddling, fitness for musicians, music photography, martial arts, music promotion, screen printing, and more!
