The Dancenter offers a wide range of instruction from beginning levels to prepare for professional performing. The primary objective of each class is to instill a love for dance and the technique for creative performance appropriate to the level of training. The Dancenter is home to 'The Danscompany' of Gainesville, Inc., a non-profit performing group of inspired dancers. This company presents two major concerts each year featuring ballet, jazz, modern and tap performances. It also performs for a variety of community service and educational events.

The Dancenter focuses on promoting self-esteem, encouraging self-confidence, and offering a positive, loving environment that is also challenging for every student.
