Association of Blind Citizens

Participants will spend the weekend experiencing hands-on technology demonstrations and group activities! Bring your own iPhone and/or iPad. If you do not own one, devices will be available on loan with apps fully loaded. The Assistive Technology trainers will engage the students with activities to teach various accessibility features and assistive technologies.

Participants will spend the weekend at a ski lodge where they will have the chance to experience the New Hampshire White Mountain region. Activities will include tubing, skiing, snowshoeing, and an indoor pool for swimming.

Participants will spend the weekend at a log cabin at Camp Wannakee where they will have the chance to experience the New Hampshire lakes region. Off site activities will include bowling, mini golf, bumper cars, a boat ride. On site activities will include evening camp fires, wall climbing, short hikes and much more.

Camp Pride is a summer camp for youth between the ages of 14 through 21 who are still in high school and are blind or visually impaired. The camp is a place where those who are blind or visually impaired can participate in an accessible educational curriculum that will help prepare them for the world of work through exploration of career options and workplace skill development.

Camp Pride is a summer camp for children between the ages of 10 to 16 who are blind or visually impaired. Participants will improve social and independent living skills and build confidence while participating in recreational and leisure activities.

Camp Pride is a summer camp for adults between the ages of 22 through 65 who are blind or visually impaired. Participants will enjoy recreational, social and leisure activities.
