Summer Camps in Annapolis, Maryland

Annapolis offers a uniquely maritime-focused summer camp scene that takes full advantage of its Chesapeake Bay location. While the city features the usual mix of sports and arts programs, what really sets it apart is the abundance of water-based activities and environmental education opportunities. The Annapolis Maritime Museum leads the way with hands-on programs teaching kids about bay ecology and maritime heritage, while sailing camps from providers like KidShip Sailing School and Annapolis Sailing School get children out on the water from as young as age 5.

Beyond the nautical offerings, you'll find everything from STEM programs at the prestigious U.S. Naval Academy to creative arts camps at ArtFarm Annapolis, with most camps averaging around $375 per week. The city's camp landscape perfectly reflects its character as a historic seaport town where maritime culture meets modern education.
