Summer Camps in Lexington, Kentucky

Lexington's summer camp scene perfectly blends Southern charm with enriching experiences, offering everything from elite sports training at UK Athletics to hands-on nature exploration at Shaker Village's 3,000-acre historic campus. Parents can choose from over 150 different providers, with most camps falling in the surprisingly affordable $200-400 range. The city particularly shines in its specialty programs - Legacy All Sports hosts dynamic gymnastics camps in their massive 70,000-square-foot facility, while the Bluegrass Youth Ballet offers unique themed dance camps that combine storytelling with movement.

What's especially noteworthy is how the camps leverage Lexington's distinctive local assets - whether it's equestrian programs that tap into the region's horse heritage or STEM camps that partner with the city's growing tech sector.

Using the Lexington, Kentucky Camp Directory

Are the camp listings in Lexington, Kentucky current?

This directory includes past sessions, programs with unconfirmed details, and provider profiles. Read each status and any source note. A source review date applies only to the details described in that note; it does not confirm every program or current availability.

How do I confirm prices, ages, dates, and registration?

Use the provider website to check current program details and registration instructions. Missing details are labelled as unpublished. Confirm eligibility, schedule, total fees, and availability directly with the provider before registering.

Do all providers in the Lexington directory hold camp in the city?

The directory can include providers with addresses outside the selected city. A provider address may differ from the camp venue. Read location and source notes, then confirm the exact venue with the provider.
