Cross country is a fall distance running sport. We begin practices the week after Cobb county schools start, with a few optional Saturday practices the weeks before. We practice at Mabry and Harrison parks. Our practices are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6. We will have Saturday practice at 9am if we do not have a meet. If you have a very young child, I do not recommend you come to every practice. If you have other activities, we ask that you try to come to 2 practices a week during meet season to be properly conditioned. Our meets begin in mid September. I do not have a meet schedule yet. But, our meets are typically in Milton, Etowah high school, Carrollton, Peachtree City. We usually have about 5 developmental meets then will move to the USATF championship series. We will discuss those meets as they come, but sometimes those require a bit more travel, if you opt to do them. Not every meet is mandatory. I will ask each week if you can compete.
